Third Place: Auto Light Bulb Changing Lamp

Our project is a lamp that automatically changes a light bulb. It goes like this, light bulbs usually last 8 months, and then you have to change it, but when the light bulb burns out, it will sense that it is burned out so the old light bulb will return into the tray where the burned out bulbs go, and after the bulb is placed into the tray the fresh new bulb which is inside the lamp which comes with three light bulbs, enters into the hole on top, which is covered by a lamp shade.

When the new bulb is in place you turn on the lamp switch and it will turn on a light bulb, which is between 40-80 watts. The height of the lamp is 3 feet tall. A circular shape, which is glass, surrounds it and the tray would be a square-shaped, and blue marble. The switch is gray marble. The lampshade is hand quilted.
